Transitional Cathedral

Moveable Feasts manage all events at the Transitional Cathedral which is an iconic venue and a symbol of the significant rebuild undertaken in the city. The design was gifted by Japanese architect Shigeru Ban and created to be the temporary cathedral while also being able to host concerts and events. Commonly named the Cardboard Cathedral due to the unique design elements used in the construction (98 large cardboard tubes) the Cathedral has become a recognised landmark for local and visitors alike.
