Transitional Cathedral is an iconic venue and a symbol of the significant rebuild undertaken in the city. Made from large cardboard tubes and shipping containers, it is the only Cathedral in the world made sustainably. Moveable Feasts manage all events at the Transitional Cathedral which is an iconic venue and a symbol of the significant rebuild undertaken in the city. The design was gifted by Japanese architect Shigeru Ban and created to be the temporary cathedral while also being able to host concerts and events. Commonly named the Cardboard Cathedral due to the unique design elements used in the construction (98 large cardboard tubes) the Cathedral has become a recognised landmark for local and visitors alike. No strangers to meeting the extensive, and often varied, needs and requirements of event organisers, Moveable Feasts offer a personal flexible approach to each event.  From classic and contemporary to specific creative themes, they have done it all in a variety of locations across the picturesque South Island.Priding themselves on the relationships they build with key venue partners and utilising clear and honest communication, Moveable Feasts' passion and drive delivers outstanding results for both the venue and events they host.
