Canterbury Museum

For 150 years the Canterbury Museum has been telling stories of Waitaha Canterbury, now the Museum is rewriting its own story by embarking on an exciting new journey of redevelopment. The Rolleston Avenue site is closed but you can now visit their new pop-up Museum at the CoCA Centre of Contemporary Art Toi Moroki building at 66 Gloucester Street.

The Museum is using the northern gallery of the first floor for an ongoing display of collection highlights and visitor favourites from the permanent galleries in the recently closed Museum building.
