As New Zealand’s Caterpillar dealer, we have been supporting Cat and other equipment on the ice since 1957.
First as Gough Group, and now as Terra Cat, we are a business built on solid ground. We value our longstanding partnership and close relationship with the New Zealand and United States Antarctic Programmes.
This includes servicing machines such as dozers, excavators and wheel loaders, and prime power and standby generators for dependable performance in one of the world’s most isolated environments.
Terra Cat also provides onsite asset repair and rebuild support to the McMurdo, South Pole, and Palmer Station facilities, while we have completed asset rebuild activity from our Christchurch facility to offer Cat equipment a second life and to conserve resources.
Our Fluid Analytics laboratory provides data for mobile and fixed plant assets working at Antarctic stations, ensuring support for improved asset management throughout the equipment life cycle.
We are proud of our ongoing partnership with the Antarctic network and that our current and future Caterpillar technology helps support the research community in Antarctica’s unique environment.
