In addition to encouraging and guiding people to research their own family history, members of the Canterbury Genealogy Society will highlight aspects of our collections and research tools that will help people understand more about their families’ arrival, and the communities they lived in. Migration, social change, historical events and anniversaries have all shaped the present-day fabric of our place.
