According to Welsh tradition, Annwfyn is the name of the Otherworld, mainly regarded in mythological terms as the domain of fairies and warring lords. In the Welsh language, 'an' serves to intensify a word, such as 'very'. And 'wyfn' means deep, and also, the world, or a very deep aspect of the world. It is therefore hardly surprising that Annwfyn is also considered to be the of Source of 'Awen,' which means divine inspiration. And, the Goddess associated with Awen is Cerridwen, whose three-legged pot, or cauldron, is the sacred vessel of the Awen.

Together we will explore the most famous story about Cerridwen and her Cauldron, which is said to have occurred 500 years BC, and discover its timelessness relevance, in fact today more than ever! Because its all about transformation and rebirth, something humanity is undergoing right now in these tumultuous times.

Annwyn is an ancient Keeper of Annwfyn, meaning she holds the vibrational frequencies of that state of consciousness and activates this in others. Having held this role and name in previous incarnations, it was consciously returned to her in 2014 and has taken a decade to fully embody this role again. Two years ago during her fourth pilgrimage to Avalon/Glastonbury, she made an oath to Goddess Cerridwen to be her voice when the time was right. It is not by chance that she now returns to Christchurch, a core place of her journey and destined to be the world’s ‘First City of Light’ to birth this new body of work. As a group, we will anchor the potential for this deeper way of Being in our world.
