This year's Tamariki Book Festival theme is Books Take Flight. Join us for a great day of book and flight-related activities.
Meet local authors and illustrators in a fun festival atmosphere. Find your next favourite author. Buy books for ages 3 to 17, direct from the creators.
Pick up copies of amazing books from local authors and illustrators. We'll have some fun activities and giveaways, courtesy of the Air Force Museum as well.
Come prepared to leave with an armload of fantastic books for kids and teens.
There will be a low stimulation time from 3.30 to 4 pm for those who prefer a calmer environment.
Come dressed as your favourite book character and win spot prizes!
