Mumrave Christchurch

At the green behind Te Pae in Christchurch will transform into a pop-up dance tent made just for mums!

Mumraves are alcohol-free, high-energy dance sessions designed so you can let loose, laugh hard, and still be home before 10 pm. Each one-hour rave limited to 40 mums; creating a fun, intimate space to move, breathe, and feel good in your body again. With six back-to-back sessions from 2:00 pm to 8:00 pm, there’s a time to suit every mum-life schedule.

Mumraves is part of The Village NZ’s nationwide launch, bringing mums together not just for fun, but to shine a light on the need for better maternal health in Aotearoa.

Inside the big pop-up tent, the music’s loud, the lights are low, and the vibe is joy. No pressure, no dress code, no bar - just you, your mates, and a whole lot of dancing. Come as you are, sneakers or sparkles, and shake off the week.
