Join a guided walk through Ōhinetahi and Kennedy’s Bush led by Harry Ell’s great-granddaughter, Paula Jameson. Discover the rich conservation history of the Port Hills, including Harry Ell’s vision and the work of the Summit Road Society to protect the Port Hills.

Along the way, enjoy panoramic views, native bush, and interpretation panels at the John Jameson Lookout.

The 7 km walk will take approximately 3.5 hours, is moderately challenging with some rocky and muddy terrain; sturdy footwear and a good level of fitness are required and dress for the conditions.

Also please note: The Kennedys Bush section involves some steep uphill sections.
