Careers in Heritage is back again in 2025.

Are you passionate about arts, culture and heritage? A role in the heritage or GLAM sector may be right for you. There are opportunities to launch a career in arts and heritage right here in Ōtautahi Christchurch.

This event for senior high school and university students will introduce you to some of the many possible careers in arts and heritage. Guest speakers from across the sector will share what’s great about their jobs, and let you know what skills or qualifications you would need to do the same work.

You’ll also get to mingle with the speakers over afternoon tea. This is a great chance to ask them questions and make the most of the networking opportunity.

This event is sponsored by the Christchurch City Council Heritage Team and is run with the assistance of Christchurch City Libraries, the Christchurch Archaeology Project, Selwyn Libraries, and the Department of Conservation.
