A New Zealand Gardens Trust 6-Star Garden of International Significance, Broadfield Garden spans 3.5 hectares of exceptional design, planting, and care. Established 20 years ago with originality at its heart, it blends formal and informal plantings of New Zealand natives with locally bred azaleas, rhododendrons, camellias, maples, peonies, daffodils, lilies, and roses. Highlights include a kauri forest of over 100 trees, a beech forest, viewing mound, 120 metre New Zealand border, 140m canal, sedge pond, formal rose garden, cricket oval, and more - all framed by 1.5km of totara hedging.
