Alpine Guides (Aoraki) Ltd is New Zealand’s longest established mountain guiding company - since 1966. Based year-round in Aoraki Mount Cook National Park, Alpine Guides offers unparalleled access into this spectacular mountain area. We are alpine instruction specialists, offering year-round mountaineering courses and guided ascents, for beginner to experienced alpinists. Winter guiding (July to October) includes specialised avalanche courses, heliskiing, glacier skiing, and ski touring. All of our friendly, experienced guides are industry qualified professionals, trained through the International Federation of Mountain Guides Associations (IFMGA)/ New Zealand Mountain Guides Association (NZMGA) system.
