Mt Dobson Motel is located in the village of Kimbell on the main highway between Christchurch and Queenstown, 5 minutes drive away from Fairlie and 20 minutes from scenic Lake Tekapo. Mt Cook village is an easy 90 minute drive away.
We are the closest motel to Mt Dobson Ski Field. Five ground floor units ranging from studio through to 2 bedrooms. One wheelchair accessible unit. Full kitchens and bathrooms in each unit. TV/DVD plus free unlimited wifi. Garaging available for motor bikes. Spacious off street parking, suitable for trucks and boat trailers.
Next door to the historic Silverstream Hotel which has a bar and restaurant with takeaways available. Live music is performed there on numerous occasions throughout the year.
