Karetu Downs is a one hour drive from Christchurch airport. The property is Kiwi owned and farmed. On farm activities- sheep shearing (bookings essential), feed the pet lambs/sheep, feed the chickens and ducks and collect the eggs. Meet the two kune kune pigs Daisy and Midget and Billy and Sid our resident goats . 4WD farm tours available. Hiking and river walks.
Cosy private accommodation for tourists, travellers and families who want to relax and take in the peaceful surroundings of the New Zealand country side. The farm is 2000 hectares of some flat to rolling downs but mostly hill country land on which we graze sheep & beef cattle.
Ideal for family groups and people who just want a quiet peaceful time away. Camper vans welcome.
Pricing and Conditions
- Adult: $190.00 - $340.00
Conditions
A deposit of $100 upon booking is required to secure booking and is deducted from overall account at time final payment.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellation up to one month prior to your booking, your deposit will be refunded in full. Cancellation up to 3 days prior to your booking – 50% deposit will be retained as a cancellation fee.
Cancellation within 24 hours of your booking incurs a 100% forfeit of the total amount unless we can fill your booking.
