Commercial Attraction Manager


The Commercial Attraction Manager is responsible for developing and managing strategic initiatives that attract high-value investment and businesses to Christchurch, accelerating economic growth, job creation, and innovation within the Canterbury region.

As Commercial Attraction Manager, you will:

  • Develop relationships and collaboration with investors, industry leaders, government agencies, and iwi, to unlock long-term economic value for Christchurch.
  • Position Christchurch as a competitive destination for domestic and international investment, advancing Christchurch’s long-term business and investment attraction goals.
  • Work collaboratively within ChristchurchNZ to ensure cohesive delivery of investment attraction efforts that are aligned with Christchurch’s broader economic development objectives.

Business Performance Coordinator


The Business Performance Coordinator is responsible for coordinating annual business planning, support performance reporting to our shareholder Christchurch City Council, our Board and leadership team, and guide procurement processes that are fit for purpose and future ready.

As Business Performance Coordinator you will:

  • Coordinate planning and reporting that keeps us accountable and future-focused, supporting compliance and performance across ChristchurchNZ.
  • Turn data into insights by coordinating reports and commentary that inform our shareholder, board and leadership team.
  • Support smart procurement with tools, templates and advice that help teams make confident, risk-aware decisions.
  • Guide contract management from setup to close, ensuring processes are clear, compliant and fit for purpose.
  • Improve how we work by supporting organisational policy reviews and workflow enhancements that make things simpler and smarter.
  • Empower our people through onboarding, training and support that builds capability in planning, procurement and reporting.
