ITM New Zealand Sail Grand Prix | Christchurch

Another Season Of Thrills, Spills And Spectacular Sailing

A Black Foils home victory, 20 thousand shoreline supporters and an epic afternoon of racing that Peter Burling called the “best day in SailGP history”; that’s a wrap on the ITM New Zealand Sail Grand Prix | Christchurch, Season 4.

Beyond the adrenaline-fueled races, the event has fostered a lasting legacy in Ōtautahi.

With hundreds of local youth participating in sailing and education programmes, and the only city on the global race calendar to deliver Breaking Boundaries, an event celebrating the athletes in SailGP’s women's pathway programme, it's a legacy that shines a light on our city’s values.

From showcasing the unique natural playground, to caring for New Zealand’s precious taonga, and demonstrating sporting excellence, Christchurch sure knows how to deliver a spectacular major event.
