Just 20 minutes from the CBD, situated amongst native flora and fauna, Willowbank offers a unique venue with the opportunity to combine New Zealand’s wildlife, culture, and cuisine for a truly memorable event.
Surrounded by wildlife and native bush, this unique facility provides a very special environment with an atmosphere that is unsurpassed.
The fully licensed café/restaurant is a versatile space which can be utilised for a wide variety of events at all times of day. Deer will come running to be hand fed from the adjoining deck and during the colder months a large open fire creates a special ambience.
Combine the nature of Willowbank and/or the Māori culture of Ko Tāne and this provides a perfect venue for a ‘welcome’ or ‘farewell’ dinner.
For a more informal gathering there is a large picnic area behind the farmyard of Willowbank which can host up to 300 people.
