The state of the art facilities at The Piano are suitable for a range of public and private events.
The Philip Carter Family Concert Hall is a 327-seat, raised-stage auditorium, with acoustics designed to enhance presentations to the fullest. The auditorium is fully soundproofed and wired for the latest in lighting and audio/visual technologies.
The Atrium is a double height foyer, and serves as an entrance to The Concert Hall as well as a supporting function space. It has a grand piano in a recessed acoustic shell making it suitable as a jazz bar, as well as for pre- and post-show functions. The Atrium is available for hire as a separate space and is suitable for receptions, launches, corporate and private functions.
The Chamber, The Box and several studios are available for hire separately or as break out rooms for festivals, corporate events and conferences.
The Piano is a fully licensed venue with an excellent commercial kitchen. A list of preferred caterers is available on request.
