Pedro's is an icon of Christchurch! Originally Pedro sold his iconic lamb at his restaurant in Gloucester Street (behind the Square) - now his nephew Iñaki is keeping the mouth-watering tradition alive in Merivale & Sydenham. The recipe has not changed in the 35 years that it has been sold in the city- why change a good thing?
As Pedro's is all about their garlic and rosemary marinated lamb - our 'must try' is certainly this iconic dish. At $40 for a slow cooked lamb shoulder and tasty scalloped potatoes (this dish feeds 2-3 adults), you will not be disappointed with this restaurant quality takeaway option.
