Located on the waterfront in gorgeous Akaroa, the surrounding
environment is a treasure trove of local ingredients ripe for the
picking. At the one day cooking demonstrations we include these
fresh, seasonal ingredients in new recipes that encourage real food
back into everyday life. All of the dishes are prepared then
enjoyed around a large dining table, complete with matching New
Zealand wines.
Created from the vision of Ant and Lou Bentley, the cooking
school is developing a reputation as a modern experience with
fresh, fun ideas that can be incorporated into everyday life for
family and friends.
