Swimming with wild New Zealand Fur seals in the shallow waters
of the beautiful Kaikoura Peninsula truly is a unique experience.
Kaikoura is one of the only places in the world where you can
safely swim with these cheeky and inquisitive playmates of the
sea.
Many people have said that their seal swimming experience was
one of the highlights of their travels in NZ. This is defiantly
something that you do not want to miss.
Seal Swim Kaikoura is New Zealand's original seal swimming
operation, is owned and operated by a local Kaikoura family and has
been guiding travellers on seal swimming adventures for over 22
years.

Seal Swim Kaikoura is conveniently located right in the main street of Kaikoura at 58 West End, Kaikoura.
This is 1 minutes walk from the Kaikoura Information Centre and the bus/shuttle stops for buses/shuttles arriving to and departing from Christchurch, Picton and Blenheim. We are also only a 5 minute walk from the Kaikoura train station. Kaikoura is located 2.5 hours north of Christchurch and 2.5 hours south of Picton.

Bathing suit, towel and warm clothing for after you return from the tour.
We Provide
2 piece 5mm dive suits, hoods, mask and snorkel and flippers. Hot showers for afterwards.
