Mount Cook Ski Planes

Mount Cook Ski Planes are the only company offering both fixed wing and helicopter scenic flights in the Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park. Fly with the only company certified to land on the Tasman Glacier, the longest glacier in New Zealand.

FROM NZ $230.00

Mount Cook Ski Planes made aviation history in 1955 with the first fixed wing Ski Plane landing on the Tasman Glacier. From this early pioneering spirit a premiere tourism company was formed which has shaped tourism in this region. Today we operate a modern fleet of ski equipped Ski Planes and B2/B3 Squirrel Helicopters ensuring comfortable access to this remote alpine environment. We are still the only scenic flight operator based in the Aoraki/Mount Cook National Park and certified to land on the mighty Tasman Glacier. Let our experienced mountain pilots share with you this very special alpine environment.
