The great Kiwi 'Clubfields' are nestled in the fantastic
Southern Alps of NZ.
Despite the name, WE ARE ALWAYS OPEN TO THE PUBLIC.
We offer uncrowded slopes, minimal lift queues, genuine kiwi
hospitality and a huge variety of big alpine terrain for all
levels, some of the fields have t-bars, most have nutcracker tows,
these are quickly mastered as they take you to run after run of
untracked powder. Yes it's true, regularly described as "poor man's
heli skiing", you can often spend several days after a snow
accessing fresh powder runs.
Ski to the door and stay on the snow.
At many clubfields, after a great day on the slopes, you can spend
a relaxing evening on the mountain at the lodge and of course, the
bar. These are communally operated with great food, drink &
good company, all at a very reasonable cost.
Staying the night or a week?
Adult ski & ride overnight packages including 2 day lift
passes,
meals and one night's accommodation range from NZ$150 to

Ski Weeks including meals, accommodation, lift passes and lessons
cost between NZ$600-$900

pages on their websites and you can just turn up. (Please remember
to take chains for your car). If you are booking accommodation with
a field, ask about transport options for your trip.
Most club fields are between 1 & 2 hours drive from
Christchurch International Airport. Various independent operators
provide transport, the Coast to Coast bus passes some fields and
check out trips logged on the the carpool website www.snowpool.org.nz.
