Our tours are available in all seasons, beautiful colours
of the autumn, the winter freeze, snowy mountains, native flowers
and green luscious in the spring.
Amazing landscapes, rugged coastlines, harbours, Fiords, lakes
and NZ Sheep We have a variety of tours in many different locations in Canterbury
and around the South Island of New Zealand
Tour guide & photographer Doug offers Tours with a
difference. These photography tours
are designed with the photographer in mind, both Amateur and
Professional (non photographer Partners welcome).
Every opportunity will be given to get the best Photographs in
the best locations, with the best lighting conditions. However,
this can be weather dependant. On our tours there will be also
opportunities to photograph our wildlife as seen in its natural
habitat. Many of the places are off the beaten track visiting the
best locations for that Photographic opportunity (some walking may
be required) but may include the main South Island locations but
endeavour to visit when but when the light is at its best.
Tour Options: day tours, weekend 2, 3 or
4 days, 5-18 day South Island Tours or Customized
- Design your own itineraries and special interest tours. We also
cater for Cruise Ship Day excursions
Hours of Operation
Most Tours start 8am and finish 5-6pm but this will vary according to light and clients needs

We Provide
Unique personalised guided tours for the photographer where you can photograph our unique mountain parrot the Kea, mountain landscapes or capture that reflection of our many lakes, volcanic harbours, Fiords. Experience our dramatic coastline its seals, sea - lions, penguin’s & albatross
Transport
Free Pick-up and Drop-off at the start and finish of a tour from Fantail lodge (Lincoln), Christchurch City accommodation or the Christchurch Airport. Pick-up or drop-off from other South Island Airports by arrangement ie Dunedin for a Catlins Tour.
Capacity
Max Capacity 11 persons. Exclusive small group tours. Individuals welcome. Normally cater for 1-6 persons but will host larger groups by prior arrangement.
