After winning last year's Critic's Choice Award, Marc &
Svetlana Buttersworth are back in Christchurch on their honeymoon tour yet again
to remind couples that Love Heals All Wounds. This year they
have filled their excess baggage with Las Vegas style acts and 80's
pop video melodrama that will amaze, perplex and ultimately inspire
people to believe in the magic of Love.
1. What are the key responsibilities of a
busker?
Marc - To convince people they want to be our audience and
then to take them a journey they will never forget!
Svetlana - To make money and to make people want to like
us.
2. What's the first thing you do on a Saturday
morning?
Marc - Watch cartoons.
Svetlana - A solid hour or zumba workout.
3. What are you reading at the moment?
Marc - A Beginners Guide to Ventriloquism.
Svetlana - War and Peace.
4. If you were to be stranded on an island, which three
things would you bring with you?
Marc - A boat, satellite phone, and a helicopter.
Svetlana - My makeup, my hair and my underwear.
5. If I invited myself over to your house for dinner,
using only the contents in your fridge right now, what would you
make me?
Marc - Egg in a basket.
Svetlana - Borscht sandwich.
6. Where would you rather be right now?
Marc - Disneyworld.
Svetlana - An underwater submarine adventure, because I have
never been in a submarine.
7. What advice would you give to your 15-year-old
self?
Marc - Invest heavily in Applpe stock.
Svetlana - Use a different mail order bride
service.
8. If you could only ever go one place in the world on
holiday for the rest of your life - where would it be?
Marc - Baraboo, Wisconsin, Circus World Museum!
Svetlana - Mars.
9. If you could acquire one new skill within the next 24
hours, what would it be?
Marc - The ability to throw my voice.
Svetlana - To understand Quantum Physics.
10. What's one thing most people do not know
about you?
Marc - I like to wear women's clothing.
Svetlana - I like to dress Marc up in my clothing.
