The Inside Story believes that your travels should be more than
just seeing the sights. It is the hearing of our many rich stories
that will complete your travel experience. You do of course get to
view the best scenery in this region; but your tour will also be
full of engaging information and stories of our landscape, plants
and animals, as well as our rich Maori and European colonial
history. Full-day tours are operated (i) in Christchurch and
surrounds (also half-day), (ii) Banks Peninsula and Akaroa, and
(iii) Arthur's Pass in the Southern Alps. You will be in a small
group tour (max 5 passengers, all with a window seat) in a spacious
and comfortable vehicle, with plenty of time for photo stops,
relaxing and taking refreshments in the prettiest settings in the
region. Note: private custom tours, specially designed for your
interests, can take up to 11 passengers.
