"We had the pleasure of obtaining Craig Rome as our private driver and guide for the greater Christchurch area. We were traveling by cruise ship, so our time in Christchurch was limited, and we wanted to make the best of the day. Craig met us just feet from the ship, in a very spacious tour van, comfortable for people of all shapes and sizes. There was ample room for our party of 4, several of whom are quite tall. I am guessing that this van would easlily accomodate 8 full sized adults comfortably. Craig will also offer up a customized picnic option for you as well. As promised, Craig offered us a variety of suggestions for the day. He was willing and able to accomodate all of our wishes, and did so happily. We thoroughly enjoyed Craig's knowledge and history of the region. In addition to all the landmarks, he also took us to see more local sights, like the private gardens in some of the more beautiful neighborhoods. He was an attentive listener who picked up on our interests and adjusted the tour accordingly. When we mentioned that we like antique, thrift and book shops, he made a few stealth stops along the way for these as well. His knowledge of all things Christchurch allowed us to customize our day. We enjoyed the countryside, views of the harbor, downtown, gardens, retail, residential and cultural sites. In addition to the great tour, the pricing was a real value as well. For our group, we got a much better price than we ever would have by booking through the cruise line. Craig made it effortless to book online, in NZD. It is our pleasure to recommend Craig to you, and we look forward to touring with him again."
