Christchurch & Canterbury Tourism Official Visitor Guide Online Advertising

Christchurch & Canterbury Tourism’s responsive (mobile, tablet and desktop compatible) website, has over 500,000 visits each year. From 1 April 2014 – 31 March 2015, there were 544,320 visits with:

  • 50% being New Zealand visits
  • 20% being Australian visits
  • 54% being desktop users
  • 46% being mobile (30%) or tablet (16%) users

To support advertising sales in the Official Visitor Guide (OVG) the following christchurchnz.com advertising space is provided for each type of advertisement available in the OVG.

This advertising guarantees promotion on christchurchnz.com for one year (1 July 2015 - 30 June 2016), subject to the specifications and exclusions outlined below, but does not provide exclusive advertising rights. There will be other tourism activities profiled on christchurchnz.com throughout the year as determined by CCT.

  • A one month promotional tile valid between 1 July 2015 - 30 June 2016 on the homepage of christchurchnz.com.
  • Month selection is determined by the months still available at time of booking. 
  • The promotional tile is located on the third row of content on the christchurchnz.com homepage, to the right of the Twitter feed (desktop view).
  • Homepage promotional tile will link through to the advertiser’s operator listing on christchurchnz.com.

The image needs to be high resolution (300 dpi), so that CCT can easily resize this image to fit a variety of screens. This may require consultation with CCT to find the best image to suit all devices from mobile through to desktop.
