Heritage Christchurch Wins TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence

26 June 2014

Heritage Christchurch has received a TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence award. The accolade is given only to establishments that consistently achieve outstanding traveller reviews on TripAdvisor. Establishments awarded the Certificate of Excellence are located all over the world and represent the upper echelon of businesses listed on the website.

“As a hotel in its first year back in business in Christchurch, winning the TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence is a fantastic endorsement. We are delighted our guests have rated us so highly on TripAdvisor. It’s a credit to the hard work of the team at Heritage Christchurch,” says Gary Jarvis group operations manager Heritage Hotel Management Ltd.

The Certificate of Excellence award is for top performing establishments around the world, based on feedback from customers on the world’s largest travel site.

TripAdvisor branded sites reach nearly 260 million unique monthly visitors with more than 150 million reviews and opinions covering more than 4 million accommodations, restaurants and attractions. The sites operate in 39 countries worldwide.

Heritage Christchurch offers accommodation in one and two bedroom self–contained beautifully appointed suites, conference facilities for small events and meetings, a breakfast restaurant, and a fully equipped health club and lap pool on site.

The hotel opened in 1996 and survived the 2011 seismic events to emerge as one of the few remaining working heritage buildings in Christchurch. The multi-award winning building is registered as category one and formally reopened in September 2013 in its 100th year.
