Canterbury’s Mt Hutt has taken out the top New Zealand ski resort award at the fourth annual World Ski Awards.
Mt Hutt Ski Area Manager James McKenzie received the award at the event held last weekend (Saturday 19 November, 2016) in Kitzbühel in Austria. It is the second time the skifield has won.
“Second year running is a great endorsement that our valued guests are happy with what we are doing.”
James says the attraction to Mt Hutt is the friendly vibe, great customer service and excellent facilities.
“It’s the complete offering in Canterbury. A big mountain with wide groomed slopes, all lift access and top to bottom terrain parks with world class jumps,” he says.
“It is Canterbury’s playground, but also loved by other Kiwis and our Aussie guests.”
Mt Hutt is a 35-minute drive from Methven village, and approximately 90 minutes from Christchurch.
