What's On

Spring brings the city to full bloom with events like the French Festival in Akaroa, and the Antarctic Festival.  New Zealand Cup and Show Week and New Zealand's Royal Show.

Summer heralds the World Buskers and Garden City SummerTimes festivals and a host of free outdoor events.  Be sure to catch some of the world's best golfers at the NZ PGA Golf at Clearwater.

Autumn is a time to enjoy leaves falling, the NZ International Jazz and Blues Festival, as well as delicious wine and food festivals.

Winter in Canterbury means snow on the hills!  Celebrate with the Festival of Lights in Lyttelton.  Enjoy the arts with the popular Arts Festival and for the Kids - KidsFest is New Zealand's only fesitval for kids.

There is so much happening in Christchurch & Canterbury including many large conferences, festivals and weeks full of fantastic events.
