The Christchurch & Canterbury Convention Bureau has the answers.

 

As part of Christchurch & Canterbury Tourism, the Bureau is a not-for-profit organisation. Our services are FREE of charge to meeting, conference and incentive planners. We want to ensure your event is as successful as possible.

 

The Bureau's free support services include:

Meet the Team

Caroline Blanchfield - Business Development Manager

Caroline Blanchfield is the Business Development Manager at Christchurch and Canterbury Tourism and The Christchurch & Canterbury Convention Bureau.

Caroline has had over 30 years in the tourism industry and has spent the last 20 plus years in tourism marketing roles within New Zealand

She is a passionate advocate of all things tourism for the city and the region.

 

Jan Whiteside - Business Development Manager - Australia

Many of you will know Jan from her previous role working with Millennium Hotels and Resorts in Sydney, Australia.  She has a long standing association with New Zealand and a commitment and enthusiasm for the region of Christchurch and Canterbury and the people here.

As Business Development Manager for Australia Jan now adds New Zealand to her portfolio and will continue to promote Christchurch and Canterbury as a conference and incentive destination to the PCO, association and corporate market and will continue to develop and build key relationships and networks within the New Zealand and Australian industry.

 

Courtney King - Conference & Incentive Executive

Courtney comes to the Bureau from her position as Conference Sales Executive at Rydges Hotel Christchurch and latterly Rydges Hotel Wellington.

Courtney has broad knowledge of the Canterbury region and has spent time working at the Heritage Hanmer Springs and originally hails from Timaru.
