Eco Walks, Guided Walk offers an all-inclusive package for the active traveller interested in the outdoors and Christchurch’s history. This guided walk is the best way to see and explore stunning Banks Peninsula and historical Lyttelton.
The tour includes transfers from Canterbury Museum to the Gondola, where visitors will be suspended to the top of the Port Hills and Banks Peninsula with Christchurch Gondola.
Visitors take the same walk over the Bridle Path as the settlers did and go back in time where the story of Christchurch began when the first settlers arrived in 1850 their lives and the lives of the local Maori changed forever.
The 2.5 - 3 hour walk from the Gondola station winds down to historic Lyttelton where visitors are welcomed to explore the town at their leisure.
