Day 1: Christchurch - Waipara Wine Region - Hanmer
Springs
After arriving in Christchurch, make your way up State
Highway 1 toward Hanmer Springs.
For lunch stop at The Mud House. First
head to the purpose-built wine tasting area - it's a great way to
explore Mud House Wines and learn about the Waipara wine
region. Select you favourite drop to enjoy with lunch, dine
alfresco in the courtyard with views across the vines.
Check into your accommodation Select Braemar Lodge & Spa, Hanmer
Springs. Here you will enjoy sweeping views across the Hanmer
Basin and surrounding mountains, as well as Spa Braemar which has
an exciting range of treatments for body and soul.
In the afternoon unwind with a relaxing stroll through Hanmer
Village, then head to The Hanmer Springs
Pool and Spa for a dip in the natural thermal pools. Nestled in

seafood, local gourmet meats, organic vegetables, herbs and

Day 2: Full Pampering day
Today is yours to soak up the invigorating alpine atmosphere,
enjoy the comforts of your hotel and of course the nearby Hanmer Springs
Thermal Pools and Spa. The new health and beauty Spa is
spacious and luxurious, the perfect place for some personal
pampering and relaxation. Specialising in luxurious skin, body and
massage therapies.
In the evening treat yourself to an in -suite bath ritual from

Day 3: Hanmer - Waipara Wine Region -
Christchurch
Enjoy a late breakfast at Select Braemar Lodge & Spa
then head back to Christchurch
Stop in at Pegasus Bay Winery for lunch. Using
predominantly locally grown ingredients, you will find an emphasis
on freshness and simplicity. The menu is created around their
extensive wine list, each dish being matched with a suggested
wine.
