Why we love Kadett Café
Influenced by Japanese and Scandinavian design, a lot of work has gone into making Kadett a calming and zen place in the city.
The idea of starting a café came to Mirabel and Gareth in 2009 whilst they were working in Japan teaching English.
The menu is simple with the mentality of having a few good options made using quality ingredients. Spreads and jams are made by Mirabel and there are specialist Japanese teas on the menu, along with locally roasted coffee by Ristretto.
The food at Kadett will change regularly over the seasons. But our pick is The Kadett Breakfast Sett: muesli with yoghurt and stewed fruit, sourdough toast with soft-boiled egg and fresh herbs, house relish. All the good stuff!
