Hotel Grand Chancellor set for another big year
Canterbury Conference Expo venue, Hotel Grand Chancellor has
several major international conferences confirmed for 2010.
With the largest in-hotel conference centre in the South Island,
the level 14 venue is completely dedicated and self-contained with
nine different conference rooms and the flexibility to cater for 10
to 1000 delegates with ease.
Bree Jones, the hotel's Business Development Executive -
Conferences and Events says at least five major conferences are
already confirmed for next year, kicking off in January with a
teachers' conference of 600 delegates. Others booked for next year
include the Trans-Tasman Endodontic conference and the Association
of Wall & Ceiling Industries (AWCI) conference.
"Christchurch is the premier conference destination in New
Zealand so it's great for us to be working with the Bureau and
other business partners to show what's on our doorstep to local,
national and Australian buyers," she says.
