Waipara Wine and Food Celebration 08

16 March, 2008 11am-4.30pm Waipara Village - Glenmark Church grounds An annual celebration of the grape harvest in the stunning Waipara Valley, this festival is a day of blissful indulgence in a showcase of fine wine, fantastic food, music and entertainment and all in the sunny slopes of the idyllic Glenmark Church grounds
     
Split Enz
23 March, 2008 8pm Westpac Arena, Addington, Christchurch Split Enz, the group that helped define the course of music in New Zealand and Australia, are reuniting and hitting the road in March 2008 for a New Zealand tour that eNZ fans have only ever dreamed of.
     
New Zealand International Jazz and Blues Festival
25 March, 2008 - 4 April, 2008 Various Christchurch inner city locations Welcome to the 2008 New Zealand International Jazz & Blues Festival, with an action-packed programme featuring a breathtaking lineup of acclaimed international and New Zealand artists in both ticketed and free events.
     
Le Race
29 March, 2008 Cathedral Square, Christchurch to Akaroa New Zealand’s own slice of a mountain stage of the Tour de France, Le Race is also New Zealand’s premier hill cycle event. Essentially unchanged since its inception in 1999, the 100km course begins in Cathedral Square and takes competitors along a stunning scenic route before finishing in the French settlement of Akaroa.
