Okuku Country estate is set in 4 hectares of park like grounds with century old trees, nestled in the North Canterbury foothills of the Southern Alps. Built in 1920 Okuku has been fully renovated and now provides 6 ensuite guest bedrooms mainly upstairs, with spacious dining, entertainment and living areas downstairs. Breakfast is served in the elegant dining room or alfresco and a hearty country evening meal, with complimentary wine, is included in the tariff. Guests enjoy the billiards room with its full sized table, open fire and bar facilities. The indoor pool and spa is also popular with adjoining barbeque and outdoor entertaining area. Christchurch city is just 45 minutes drive away.
