Le Gite is a boutique backpackers, set in the alpine village of
Hanmer Springs. It is only a 10 minute walk to the famous Hot
Pools. Enjoy our cosy lounge with TV and video, the sunny garden
and the superb mountain views. We have 3 and 4 share bedrooms,
double rooms and a stylish garden chalet with ensuite rooms. All
beds are ready made. We have no bunks! For each guest there is free
coffee, tea and hot chocolate. And of course broadband internet, a
laundry and off-street parking. Hanmer Springs is only a 90 minute
drive from the Garden City Christchurch. You don't have to go to
Queenstown! We have it all: from Bungy jumping to horse riding,
from Jet boating to forest and mountain hikes. Even skiing in
