Lodge & Tree Houses. Designed by the owner's family of
architects and designers, Hapuku Lodge & Tree Houses is in one
of New Zealand's most spectacular environments, between Kaikoura's
dramatic mountains and the Pacific Coast. The accommodation
consists of four spacious lodge suites, five Tree Houses and the
Olive House Apartment. Two of the Tree Houses feature two
bedrooms for families or two couples. Situated within the
landscaped grounds of a deer farm and olive grove, all rooms have
views of Kaikoura's environment of mountains, fertile pastures,
native bush and the Pacific Ocean. The lodge and accommodations are
designed to complement the environment, featuring timbers and local
stone in their construction and handcrafted furnishings in interior
design. This thoughtful design is matched by considered facilities
including swimming pool, fire-side lounge and amenities ensuring
five star accommodation comfort. Concentrating on delivering simple
fresh flavours in our dining room we source the freshest of local
ingredients, even growing some ingredients on site, and our wine
