reserve. These include fascinating God's marbles-limestone spheres
formed around dinosaur bones, the stunning Waipara Gorge and the
amazing giant Bishops Head natural rock sculpture. An

Claremont Country Estate is one of Canterbury's truly authentic
heritage country homesteads offering luxury accommodation. It was
built in 1866 from hand-cut limestone blocks quarried on the farm
and is listed by the New Zealand Historic Places Trust.
